Metalstrip 1310, combined with Metalstrip Aktivator 1510, is a medium-temperature paint stripper designed to quickly remove coatings from aluminum and its alloys. This stripper is ready to use and free of halogenated hydrocarbons, making it ideal for immersion and inline stripping systems. The paint removal time varies from 15 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the type of coating and the paint thickness.
Technical requirements for the paint stripping system
Materials in contact must be made of carbon steel or stainless steel and must be resistant to strongly alkaline solutions. The paint stripping tank can be static; however, the use of mixers or specific mixing pumps will enhance paint stripping performance. The use of specific filtration systems will allow the separation of paint sludge, thus extending the lifespan of the paint stripping bath.
