Metalstrip 1315, combined with Metalstrip Aktivator 1515, is a cold alkaline paint stripper developed to quickly remove polyester and epoxy paints from aluminum and steel. This stripper is ready to use, can only be applied via immersion, and is free of halogenated hydrocarbons. The paint removal time varies from 2 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the type of coating and the paint thickness.

Technical requirements for the paint stripping system
Materials in contact must be made of carbon steel or stainless steel and must be resistant to alkaline paint stripping solutions. The paint stripping tank can be static; however, the use of ultrasonic systems will significantly enhance the paint stripping performance. The use of specific filtration systems will allow the separation of paint sludge, thus extending the lifespan of the paint stripping bath.
