Metalstrip 2011 is a water-based paint stripper suitable for hot immersion stripping of ferrous materials. It is not suitable for light alloys or galvanized iron. Metalstrip 2011 is ready to use and free of halogenated hydrocarbons, making it a safe and effective choice for numerous industrial applications. It can be paired with Metalstrip Cover Layer 5104 to reduce evaporation and the spread of odors in the workplace.
Technical requirements for the paint stripping system
Materials in contact must be made of carbon steel or stainless steel and must be resistant to strongly alkaline solutions. The paint stripping tank can be static; however, the use of mixers or specific mixing pumps will enhance paint stripping performance. The use of specific filtration systems will allow the separation of paint sludge, thus extending the lifespan of the paint stripping bath.
