Metalstrip 1728/3, combined with Metalstrip Aktivator 1553, is a fast-acting paint stripper designed for the removal of coatings from ferrous and aluminum surfaces. Ready to use and free of halogenated hydrocarbons, it is ideal for both spray and immersion systems. The paint removal time varies from 5 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the type of coating and thickness. This product is non-foaming and particularly suitable for spray applications.

Technical requirements for the paint stripping system
Materials in contact must be made of carbon steel or stainless steel and must be resistant to heated alkaline solutions up to 120°C. The paint stripping tank must be constantly mixed using mixers or dedicated pumps. The use of specific filtration systems will allow the separation of paint sludge, thus extending the lifespan of the paint stripping bath.
